Hi I’m Stefhanie (yep that’s how it is really spelled). Being a cosmetologists daughter gave me a love for all things beauty from a young age. Fun fact; Grassroots has been a home to me since I was 6 years old, my mom is Malinda, the current owner and has been a stylist here for over 25 years. Although I’ve always had a love for the industry, I began my career a little bit later in life. I married my husband in 2011 while I was attending Weber State University. We welcomed our son in 2012 and a daughter in 2014. During that time I was fortunate enough to be able to spend my days with my babies and spend my nights teaching dance, I will forever be grateful for that time. As most momma’s do I found myself in mom mode and once my babies were in school it was time to focus on me and my career.
In 2018 I began my apprenticeship under Malinda and finished it in February 2020, just two weeks before the world shut down. What a time to start a career huh? Fast forward to today
I am currently a Designer Stylist as well as the Director of Operations here at Grassroots Salon and Spa. When it comes to services, I absolutely love blonding, lived in colors and dimensional colors, I am also great with kids of all ages. My chair is a safe space for all, whether you need a place to vent or a space to close your eyes and relax I’ve got you!
