Do you want to pursue a career in the industry, but traditional beauty school does not feel like the right path for you? Here at Grassroots Salon and Spa, we offer an in-house apprenticeship. Work towards becoming a licensed stylist all while getting real work experience alongside some of the most talented stylists in the industry.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Depending on the type of license you are seeking to obtain the cost ranges from $18,000-$22,000. Every student is also provided with a textbook, workbook, and their own personal kit. (Full kit details available upon request.)
WHAT TYPE OF LICENSE CAN I GET BY DOING AN APPRENTICESHIP?
We offer two different types of apprenticeships: Cosmetology/Barber and Hair design.
Cosmetology/Barber License will allow you to provide all hair services and nail services as well as basic esthetics. A hair design license allows you to work only on hair.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The state of Utah requires a total of 2500 completed hours for a cosmetology/barber license and 1600 for a Hair design license.
